Benefactor - $500
Members at the Benefactor Level receive all benefits of Patron Level, in addition to:- A copy of Our Florida Legacy: Land, Legend, and Leadership, signed by muralist Christopher M. Still. Florida's history began long before the European explorers touched its shores. A series of eight paintings created for the Chamber of the House of Representatives evokes these distant times and those more recent. This beautiful coffee-table book presents these paintings and tells the stories they portray.
- Curator-for-a-Day Opportunity - This is a wonderful opportunity for you and a guest to be one of the first to see a very special object before it goes on display to the general public. Imagine your delight as you assist the Curator in unpacking a precious object such as a map from 1493, or an antique navigational tool, or maybe even Speaker Jennings' gold watch from 1911. You will also have a chance to select a special artifact from the archived collection to be displayed in the Museum's Curator Case in the Rotunda and invite your family and friends to view the efforts of your curatorial experience.
Sustainer - $1,000
Members at the Sustainer Level receive all benefits of Benefactor Level, in addition to:- Private Behind-the-Scenes Tour - This rare opportunity, offered to you and 3 of your guests, will allow you to explore special areas of the Museum not open to the public and unique artifacts housed in our archives. Historic artifacts will come to life as you hear their story told by one of the Museum's experts. Or, perhaps you will elect to climb the stairs for a panoramic view of Tallahassee from the Historic Capitol's crowning cupola, as you learn about its history and preservation on this tour with an architectural historian.
